Jonathan Anderson to debut Dior catwalk in Dublin

Anderson will show the Dior collection at Trinity College Dublin – Ireland’s oldest university – on 4 December 2026. It will be the first time the designer has presented a collection in Ireland, and also the first time the LVMH-owned luxury fashion house has shown there. Anderson, who was appointed sole creative director of Dior in June 2025, said: “Showing at Trinity College Dublin is a dream come true. I began my career in fashion in Dublin [as a merchandiser at Dublin department store Brown Thomas], so returning here feels deeply personal. “To present this collection in such an extraordinary setting – at an institution with such an important cultural history – is a real honour.” The collection will be unveiled against the backdrop of the Trinity College’s Old Library, an 18th-century building. Advertisement Anderson is the first to hold complete creative control of Dior since founder of the house, Christian Dior. His appointment last year marked “a fresh era” for the label, analysts and recruiters told Drapers at the time, as sales at owner LVMH’s fashion and leather goods business – which also includes Louis Vuitton, Celine, Loewe, Kenzo, Givenchy, Fendi, Emilio Pucci, Marc Jacobs and Loro Piana – fell 18% year on year to €6.6bn (£5.7bn) in the first half of 2025.
