FlyExclusive officially opens Raleigh, North Carolina headquarters

Opening of FlyExclusive’s headquarters in Raleigh comes as it also plans expanding its former headquarters in Kinston. FlyExclusive will formally open its new corporate headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina, later today. A private reception will follow the event at One North Hills Tower. FlyExclusive announced earlier this year that it would relocate its executive offices from Kinston, North Carolina, where the company was founded. The 24,000-square-foot office houses leadership, finance, technology, and commercial operations, including membership sales. Over 150 employees are already working from the new space. “Putting the teams that serve the same clients in the same building shortens decision cycles and helps FlyExclusive respond faster to client demand,” the press release said, adding, “The office was intentionally designed to have technology drive a lot of what we do today and how we innovate.” At the same time, the company plans to add more than 100 additional aviation jobs in Kinston. That includes its MRO operation with paint, interior, avionics, and maintenance divisions. The company has also announced plans for a pilot training facility at the North Carolina Global TransPark. It recently received a $30 million state grant for the facility. Chairman and CEO Jim Segrave says, “Having access to talent locally was a big part of how we needed to grow the business.” FlyExclusive has been leaning into artificial intelligence to streamline operations and processes. “Every piece of this business is being evaluated on how we can automate, streamline, and make ourselves more efficient,” Segrave said. The company launched in 2015 with a single hangar in Kinston. FlyExclusive is ranked as the fifth-largest U.S. private jet operator based on charter and fractional flight hours in 2025. In June, the private jet company set company records for jet hours and jet card sales. It also posted a third consecutive quarter of positive EBITDA in June.
