From the US, Milei ratified his support for Israel, attacked Iran, and condemned the global wave of antisemitism.
(From Washington, United States) Javier Milei ratified his position against antisemitism, the terrorist offensive executed by Iran in the Middle East, and his strategic alliance with the United States during an impactful speech he delivered at the Argentine embassy in the North American country.
Before explaining his ideological and personal position on Shiite terrorism and the role of Israel in the West, Milei met with Chris Wright, the United States Secretary of Energy.

Wright arrived at the Argentine embassy to speak at the event organized by the International Alliance for Remembrance of the Holocaust (HIRA), and before starting the official ceremony, he met with Milei to analyze the bilateral relationship.
The closed-door conclave was formalized on the upper floor of the diplomatic headquarters and Karina Milei -Secretary General of the Presidency-, Pablo Quirno -Foreign Minister-, and Alec Oxenford, Argentine ambassador to the White House, were witnesses.
Milei delivered a 15-minute speech, and his positions were applauded repeatedly by Ruben Ramirez -Foreign Minister of Paraguay- and Víctor Bisonó -Foreign Minister of the Dominican Republic-, Rabbi Yehuda Kaploun -United States special envoy in the fight against antisemitism-, a dozen ambassadors from Latin America and Europe, and Secretary Wright.

Milei stated the following:
-“Just a few weeks ago, three years passed since October 7, 2023. On that day, the terrorist organization Hamas, allied with the Iranian regime, perpetrated the greatest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. More than twelve hundred people were murdered, including several of our compatriots, and two hundred fifty-one were taken as hostages, twenty-one of whom were Argentine citizens. But the most serious thing was not just the crime, but the reaction of most of the world. Instead of a sharp condemnation, we witnessed many acts of discomfort, premature calls for dialogue with evil, justifications for barbarism, and preventive condemnations of the legitimate right to self-defense of the victim, that is, the State of Israel. We all saw it and it is impossible to deny it”.
-“And not only that, but we are living a renewed wave of antisemitism. An antisemitism that was not organic or spontaneous, but was stoked as part of the strategy of Israel's enemies. In all Western democracies, latent propaganda mechanisms were activated, ready to appropriate one of the oldest hatreds in history. And all to defend the plans of the enemies of the West. The message they spread was clear: Israel must lower its weapons, must forget its fallen, forget its hostages, and resign its own defense to protect the image of the Jews in the world. Many submitted to this campaign out of ignorance, others out of moral cowardice, but too many did so knowingly, knowing what was happening and what they were doing”.
-“But this fight does not happen only within borders. Today, the weapon of antisemitism points against our entire region and seeks to rely on those who hate the West to spread themselves. And I want to be clear about why. Israel is the bastion of the West, the containment wall against those who hate everything we are. If Israel falls, then all of the West will follow. That is why defending Israel has two dimensions. The first is that it is a just cause. But also, for those who do not understand it this way, it is also a question of self-preservation, because the hatred against Western values will not stop in Israel”.

Before Milei, Wright, Kaploun, Quirno, Ramirez, Oxenford, and Marcelo Mindlin, president of the International Alliance for Remembrance of the Holocaust (HIRA), also set their position on terrorism and antisemitism.
They affirmed:
“Under the leadership of President Javier Milei, Argentina has made the fight against antisemitism and the defense of Israel and the Jewish people a defining priority of its foreign policy. Argentina has become one of the clearest and firmest international voices against antisemitism,” Alec Oxenford, Argentine ambassador.
President Javier Milei made the fight against antisemitism a personal cause, and the defense of the Jewish people against their aggression a priority of our foreign policy. This determination led Argentina to become the first Latin American nation to preside over this alliance, Pablo Quirno, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

“On a continent that had lost faith in freedom, in opportunities, in democracy, and with Argentina itself setting an example in the Southern Hemisphere and in the Latin American world that believing in democracy, in freedom, in the free market, and in maintaining values as something sacred—not political conveniences, not disruptive ideologies, but believing in values—I believe that Argentina is revitalizing its own country and the nations around it,” Chris Wright, United States Secretary of Energy.
“Antisemitism is like the canary in the coal mine. The ignorance of those who seek to hate is not limited only to Jews; if they did not have Jews, they would find someone else to hate. The same people who sing 'Death to Israel', their second phrase is 'Death to the United States'. These people do not care: they only want to hate, they want to torment, and they prefer to be ignorant rather than educated,” Yehuda Kaploun -United States special envoy in the fight against antisemitism.

“I want to emphasize a difference: while President Javier Milei pushed for Argentina to assume the presidency of the IHRA for the first time, Brazil decided to withdraw from the organization in the context of the conflict in the Middle East. I wonder what the memory of the Holocaust has to do with that conflict. The preservation of memory must transcend political differences and current conflicts. That is why I highlight Milei's decision to bring the presidency of the IHRA to Latin America,” Marcelo Mindlin, president of the International Alliance for Remembrance of the Holocaust (HIRA).
When the official ceremony ended, Milei and his entourage returned to the hotel to pack their bags and fly to Buenos Aires.
At 19:07 (DC time), the president got into his armored black van and set off for the Andrews Base in Maryland.
Tomorrow he is in Argentina.
