Attijariwafa bank and its neobank Simple are enriching their mobile payment offering with Samsung Pay.
As part of its digital transformation and innovation strategy in the service of customer experience, the Attijariwafa bank group, in partnership with Samsung Morocco, announces the deployment of Samsung Pay to Attijariwafa bank and its neobank Simple customers. Available as a preview since November 2nd, and at its official launch on November 3rd, this solution enriches the Group's mobile payment offering by providing a simple, fast, and secure payment experience.
Thanks to NFC technology, Samsung Pay allows customers with a compatible Samsung smartphone to make purchases directly from their phone, without using their physical Visa or Mastercard, from merchants equipped with compatible contactless payment terminals. Available for all Attijariwafa bank and Simple products, the solution is also based on tokenization, a technology that replaces sensitive card data with a secure digital identifier (token), thus avoiding its transmission to the merchant during payment.
This launch illustrates the Attijariwafa bank group's ongoing commitment to innovation and the digitalization of banking services. By enriching its payment ecosystem, the Group pursues its ambition to offer innovative, accessible, and secure solutions, adapted to the new uses and daily needs of its customers.
