A sustained move above 23,600 would be required to improve and trigger a recovery towards 23,700–23,800. On the downside, the 23,400 zone now acts as the immediate support area, said Ponmudi R, CEO of Enrich Money. Momentum indicators continue to reflect significant weakness. The daily RSI stands around 26, firmly in the oversold zone, indicating strong negative momentum. The MACD remains bearish, with the MACD line at around -159, well below the signal line near -83, while the histogram remains negative at around -77. This confirms that selling pressure continues to dominate, although the deeply oversold RSI leaves room for a technical rebound or short-covering bounce from lower levels.
