Connected Classes Dir iddik: Inwi accelerates digital inclusion in rural areas and continues its commitment to Moroccan youth

Engaged for several years in favor of digital inclusion, Inwi continues its commitment within the framework of the "Classes Connectées Dir iddik" program, initiated by the Al Mada Foundation, in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education, Preschool, Vocational Training, and Qualification, and in partnership with Managem, Nareva and its partners, as well as Injaz Al-Maghrib. This year, 40 new rural primary schools will be set up and equipped, spread across the 12 regions of the Kingdom. This new phase of deployment thus reinforces the ambition of "Classes Connectées Dir iddik" to contribute to the reduction of digital inequalities and to promote access for young generations to the skills and opportunities offered by the digital. Initiated by the Al Mada Foundation and in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education, Preschool, Vocational Training, and Qualification, this program aims to generalize access to digital in rural primary schools through the setup of connected multimedia rooms, offering students spaces adapted for learning and discovering technologies. Since the launch of the initiative in 2021, the "Classes Connectées Dir iddik" program has thus concerned a total of 150 rural primary schools across the Kingdom, with the setup of 40 new schools planned for this year. Thus, more than 41,000 students benefit from connected digital learning spaces, gradually strengthening the program's impact on school communities in rural areas. Beyond equipping the multimedia rooms, "Classes Connectées Dir iddik" is based on a structured pedagogical support, developed in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education, Preschool, Vocational Training, and Qualification and Injaz Al-Maghrib. The ministerial program "Coding for All" particularly allows teachers to initiate them in coding, robotics, and artificial intelligence so that they can in turn transmit these skills to sixth-grade primary students. In its part, Injaz Al-Maghrib contributes through various modules dedicated to entrepreneurship, promoting the development of initiative, creativity, and students' skills. As part of this new deployment phase, Inwi is also launching a national call for volunteers. Alongside local associations and teams mobilized on the ground, volunteers will contribute to the installation of multimedia equipment, the arrangement of learning spaces, as well as the animation of educational and playful workshops and the support of students in the various activities offered within the framework of the program. Registration is open now to participate in the "Classes Connectées Dir iddik" program via the website diriddik.ma.
