The iPhone 18 Pro's 48-megapixel main camera has an aperture range of f/1.48 to f/4.0, which allows for more precise optical adjustment for the imaging system. During the tests, it was found that this capability is particularly useful when the subjects to be photographed are at different distances from the camera. In such cases, the system helps to maintain sharpness by automatically increasing depth of field as needed. The experts found that the camera offers fast and reliable autofocus, and the representation of the subject is natural. It also turned out during the tests that the mobile provides better performance than the iPhone 17 Pro in portrait photography. Not only were the images well exposed, and the skin tones natural, but the contrast was also improved. Based on the tests, there is still room for improvement in the camera system's zoom capability, especially when comparing the images with competitors. The DXOMARK experts found that the Google Pixel 11 Pro XL's zoom on the iPhone 18 Pro Max provides better performance, not to mention the best camera mobile, the Huawei Pura 80 Ultra.
