An alternative could be to place the center a bit further from Nobel's old gunpowder factory in Vinterviken, by the Mälaren. There are many remnants that testify to the activities Alfred Nobel conducted here as old worker housing, a quarry for blasting, and of course the gunpowder factory, all located in a valley given the great risks involved with the operations. The center could be placed a bit further along the shore of the Mälaren in a place where passenger boats from Stadshuskajen can dock. This would make it possible to combine a nice boat trip with a museum visit. If you think the museum would become too dominant, you can use Nobel's invention and blow it into the rock. This area offers fantastic opportunities for recreational development. I think a rethink is needed. Think before you proceed with old plans!
