ECSC Team Albania holds a bootcamp

In preparation for the European Cyber Security Challenge 2026, the team that will represent Albania developed a one-day bootcamp organized by the National Cybersecurity Authority in Valbona. During these days, the ECSC Team Albania participated in competitions, practical exercises, and challenges designed to test technical skills, collaboration, and reaction under competitive conditions. One of the main moments was participation in the FAUST CTF – Attack Defence, where 502 teams from around the world participated, and the Albanian representative ranked sixth. Part of the bootcamp was also the first Cyber Escape Room in Albania, designed by experts from the National Cybersecurity Authority. This format put the team members in front of a series of interconnected challenges, combining cybersecurity knowledge with logic, analysis, coordination, and teamwork. At the end of the program, the members received certificates as part of ECSC Team Albania, confirming the composition of the team that will represent Albania in the European Cyber Security Challenge 2026. ECSC is the European competition for young national teams in cybersecurity, supported by ENISA and European institutions, with the aim of developing and promoting new talents in this field. For AKSK, participation in ECSC is part of the ongoing work to identify and develop new talents, create competitive experience, and strengthen Albania's representation in the field of cybersecurity. AKSK expresses gratitude to the GIZ Partnership for Strengthening Cybersecurity Project, the United Nations Development Programme in Albania, Valbona Resort & SPA, UPay Albania, and Unionnet – Western Union for their support of ECSC Team Albania and their contribution to the development of new talents in this field.
