The incident occurred in the morning on the beach of Vouliagmeni, about 20 kilometers south of the Greek capital Athens. The 82-year-old man and his wife had reserved several sunbeds. There were reports of blows being delivered, but it is unknown who and how it transpired. According to Greek media, taking a sunbed was the cause of the fight. In the end, the 82-year-old man suffered cardiac arrest and was attempted to be revived. The man was taken to a nearby hospital but did not survive much later. The police are investigating whether the cardiac arrest was a result of the possible fight. The 21-year-old woman was also arrested but has since been released.
