The engine was rebuilt in 2021, at which time the valves and crankshaft were serviced, and the connecting rod bearings, valve guides and seals, piston rings, oil pressure valve, crankcase breather hose, and distributor cap and rotor were replaced. The starter ring gear was replaced, and the oil was changed in 2025. Power is routed to the rear wheels via a G50 five-speed manual transaxle that is believed to have been replaced, and it features steel synchronizers, closer ratios than the standard Carrera, and an asymmetrical limited-slip differential. The Porsche Classic Technical Certificate shows factory colors, equipment, and a production completion date of March 17, 1992.
