T5 Construction, With $1.7B in Annual Revenue, Rebrands as EverOn Data center general contractor becomes independent after four years of rapid growth Atlanta-based general contractor T5 Construction has separated from parent company T5 Data Centers and rebranded as independent data center builder EverOn Data Center Services Sept. 1, following four years of growth over which annual revenue rose from $87 million to $1.7 billion. The contractor says 83% of its 2025 revenue came from third-party construction projects, a shift it cited in explaining the move to establish as a standalone company. “Our construction business has grown significantly beyond its original mandate,” Pete Marin, chairman and CEO of T5 Data Centers, said in a statement. Establishing EverOn, he added, gives the contractor “the independence and focus to continue scaling.” That growth propelled T5 Construction onto ENR’s Top 400 Contractors ranking for the first time this year, listed at No. 80 with $1.67 billion in 2025 construction revenue. All reported revenue fell within ENR’s telecommunications market category. The separation follows a restructuring announced in January that divided T5 Data Centers into T5 Properties and T5 Services while keeping both under the T5 umbrella. T5 Services included T5 Construction and T5 Operations, while T5 Properties focused on development, investment and ownership of data center assets. Tom Mertz, formerly president and chief operating officer of T5 Services, is president and CEO of EverOn. The company says existing projects, contracts and customer relationships remain unchanged under the new structure. “While our name is changing, what customers rely on is not,” Mertz said in a statement. Image courtesy EverOn EverOn says its portfolio includes more than 260 completed projects totaling more than 12 million sq ft of data center space in the U.S. Its work includes ground-up campuses, data hall fit-outs and retrofits, as well as projects involving direct liquid cooling and high-density artificial intelligence infrastructure. The new company says its independent structure also gives it latitude to expand geographically and pursue acquisitions and partnerships. The restructuring also changes the other half of the former T5 Services organization. Data center lifecycle services firm Salute has agreed to acquire T5 Operations. Financial terms were not disclosed. EverOn and Salute say they plan to continue as strategic partners on projects where construction and operations services overlap.
