"I don't believe that all PNL parliamentarians will vote for the Mureșan government if it reaches a vote. From the discussions I hear from my liberal colleagues, not all will vote for this government. Secondly, we are used to it, Mr. Mureșan addresses us with all sorts of epithets, which is difficult for me to comment on, and it was expected, that is, he would be, as I say, unexpected to come and knock on our door," Peiu stated. He added that Siegfried Mureșan, appointed by Nicușor Dan on Thursday to form the Government, will not receive any vote from AUR. "I hope it is quite obvious to everyone, he will not have any vote from us, but I believe it is a kind of 'championship' that he has triggered, not to take votes from other parties, except those that have proposed it," the leader of the AUR senators continued. "I believe the next nomination will be the one agreed upon with the PSD and presented to the parliamentarians who know for sure that they no longer have any chance in the future to be one of the last nominations made by the president, to push them to vote and create a majority on the day of the vote, a majority that will not be able to function even after that. From this point of view, I consider it a return to a period of immorality, which was more inaugurated by Traian Băsescu, with the solution UNPR, an immorality that I do not believe we have ever wanted in Romanian political life," Petrișor Peiu also declared.
