In another message posted on his social media, Shettima stated that the delegation will include the Governors of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, and Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal, and ministers along with other senior government officials.
Preparations are underway to hold the discussions for the UNGA session from the 22nd to the 28th of September 2026.
It is expected that Nigeria will use the assembly to present its position on important global issues related to security and economic progress.
