DIPROM launches DIPROM RISE to boost 27 Thai entrepreneurs connecting business opportunities to the real market
DIPROM or the Department of Industrial Promotion organized “DIPROM RISE: Discover Potential. Rising Together — Discover Potential, Create Opportunities, Move Forward Together” at Star Hall on the 5th floor of Siam Paragon shopping center from September 18–20, 2026. It brought together over 27 potential entrepreneurs from across the country to exhibit and sell their products, as well as to create concrete business networks and market opportunities.
This event aligns with the Department of Industrial Promotion's “DIPROM FLEXi” policy for 2026, which focuses on promoting entrepreneurs flexibly and precisely according to the potential of each area, unlocking the limits in product development and market access. DIPROM has continuously driven this approach in area development projects across various regions of the country. The DIPROM RISE event is another important mechanism for further developing the potential of regional entrepreneurs, operating under the Special Economic Zone economic corridor development project, which has a total budget of 22 million baht, aiming to develop 800 entrepreneurs, 90 businesses, and 90 products nationwide.
Mr. Dusit Anantarak, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Industrial Promotion, said, “The DIPROM RISE event is organized according to the policy of the Department of Industrial Promotion, with the goal of increasing channels for product display and sales, creating cooperation networks, linking trade opportunities, and promoting the products of entrepreneurs developed by the Department to further meet consumer needs.”
The name RISE reflects four working concepts: Recognize – Discover Potential, Inspire – Create Inspiration, Strengthen – Build Strength, and Expand – Move Forward Sustainably.
“For this event, we have selected over 27 potential entrepreneurs to display their products in the heart of Bangkok, reflecting the potential of Thai entrepreneurs in utilizing raw materials, local wisdom, local identity, and creativity to develop quality products that add value and have opportunities for growth in the market concretely.”
The products on display cover 5 industry groups: 1) Fashion, Craft and Lifestyle 2) Specialty Food and Local Delicacies 3) Cocoa, Coffee and Beverages 4) Local Spirits and Craft Drinks, and 5) Wellness and Natural Care, along with important activities such as Pitching, Business Matching, Product Testing, and Workshops.
“The key highlight of the DIPROM RISE event is elevating the format of product presentation from just displaying and selling goods to creating an experience that allows visitors to get to know, try, and interact closely with the products.”
All of this makes the DIPROM RISE event more than just a trade show; it is a space where visitors can discover new products, learn about the origins and potential of the products, try them, and experience the brands, while entrepreneurs also get opportunities to communicate the highlights of their products, hear consumer feedback, and extend to future market and business opportunities.”
