Two Gulf Signs This two-piece Gulf collection is comprised of a Gulf script sign with dark blue porcelain enamel-finished letters on a white raceway frame, as well as a single-sided illuminated Gulf sign with an embossed translucent panel. Both pieces have pre-drilled hanging provisions, and the embossed sign has internal fluorescent bulbs using 120-volt circuitry and a power cord with a US-style wall plug. Both pieces were acquired by the seller in 2026, one in New York and the other in Louisiana. This pair of Gulf signs is now offered at no reserve in Southbury, Connecticut. Each letter of the Gulf script sign has a dark blue porcelain enamel finish and is set on a metal raceway finished in white. The piece measures approximately 78″ wide by 18″ tall, and each letter is around 17″ wide by 18″ tall. The condition of each letter is captured in the gallery. The raceway frame has assorted pre-drilled mounting holes for hanging. Each letter has standoff hardware to attach to the raceway. The single-sided illuminated sign features embossed blue “Gulf” lettering against an orange and white background with a silver border. Illumination is provided by internal fluorescent bulbs using 120-volt circuitry. The sign measures approximately 19.5″ tall by 21.5″ wide by 7″ deep. The frame is made of metal, and the back has pre-drilled mounting holes. A power cord with a three-prong US-style wall plug exits from the back of the piece. The piece has a Kolux Division tag on it along with an Underwriters Laboratories label, which can be seen in the gallery. The seller states the label is dated 1981.
