KLN adds Europe-Middle East RFS as air cargo capacity still in recovery KLN Logistics Group has launched a new road feeder service (RFS) connecting Europe and the Middle East that it stressed is a more cost-effective option than airfreight at a time when Middle East air cargo capacity has yet to fully recover following the start of conflict in the region. The 10,500 km RFS corridor offers door-to-door transit times of 15 to 25 days between Europe and Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, and Egypt. While the service doesn’t compare to airfreight in terms of speed, KLN manages the full journey under a single contract, from collection in Europe to final delivery in the Middle East, including customs compliance, permits, border coordination, and customs-escorted transit where required. The service is available for non-stackable palletised cargo weighing up to 23 tonnes per truck, including dangerous goods, with complete original shipping documentation required at origin and cargo insurance arranged by the shipper.
