Trump Drops Restrictions On Anthropic's Mythos and Fable Models 7 The Trump administration has lifted export restrictions that forced Anthropic to shut off public access to its Mythos and Fable models. It was uncomfortable enough relying so heavily on American software back when it couldn't be switched off remotely on the say so of an idiot. Today it's an intolerable risk. US pushes people toward China (Score:3) As the US restricts free commerce more, people look toward the only real alternative, which is China. This is the case here, too, with Chinese AI models growing in dominance. I think of this in AD&D terms, with China being Lawful Evil and the US currently being Chaotic Neutral (more like Chaotic Stupid, but still...).
