1987 Toyota Supra
1987 Toyota Supra
This 1987 Toyota Supra Turbo is powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Red Pearl over maroon cloth. The car is equipped with a limited-slip differential, a Toyota Electronic Modulated Suspension system, 16″ alloy wheels, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, power windows, cruise control, and a Clarion CD stereo. This A70 Supra Turbo shows 105k miles and is now offered in Washington by the selling dealer with spare parts and a clean Idaho title.
The car was finished from factory in Red Pearl, and the top portions of the car were repainted by the previous owner to reportedly address failing clear coat. Exterior details include a rear spoiler, pop-up headlights, fog lights, and power-adjustable side mirrors. Detailed photos of the exterior imperfections are presented in the gallery below. The Carfax report lists accidents in January and December 1996.
Silver-finished 16″ alloy wheels were mounted with Accelera tires in preparation for the sale. The car is equipped with four-wheel disc brakes and a driver-adjustable Toyota Electronic Modulated Suspension system.
The seats are upholstered in maroon cloth, and interior equipment includes a power-adjustable driver’s seat, power windows, cruise control, and a Clarion CD stereo. One of the driver-seat bolsters is torn, the air conditioning does not work, and wear is present on the center console switches. The selling dealer states that the rear hatch struts need to be replaced.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, turbo boost, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 105k miles.
The turbocharged 3.0L 7M-GTE inline-six was factory rated at 230 horsepower and 246 lb-ft of torque. The head bolts were reportedly retorqued under previous ownership, and additional service within the last 10k miles is said to have included replacing the turbocharger with a rebuilt unit as well as the radiator, coolant hoses, vacuum lines, and spark plugs.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned accidents.
