Invest in Peace The fifth United Nations Chiefs of Police Summit, UNCOPS 2026, brings together ministers, chiefs of police and gendarmerie, senior United Nations leadership and strategic partners to discuss how United Nations policing can better respond to the most pressing peace and security issues of today and tomorrow. The Summit is an opportunity to strengthen partnerships and mobilize support for a United Nations Police that is people-centred, rights-based, modern, agile, specialized, fit for purpose and built for the future and to help translate global policing experience into practical support for communities around the world.
