Trump Knocks Tucker Carlson’s Political Chances, Mocks Greene

Donald Trump took aim at Tucker Carlson in a Friday social media post, knocking the conservative commentator’s political chances and mocking his alliance with Marjorie Taylor Greene and Thomas Massie. “Tucker Carlson just met with Lightweight ‘Former’ Congressman, Thomas Massie, and Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Greene, LOSERS ALL,” the president wrote on Truth Social Friday evening, seemingly referring to the early August meet up between the three Republicans that’ve broken from the Trump-led GOP. “Tucker’s ‘Views’ have fallen through the floor, and will only get worse,” he continued. “Nobody cares about him any longer in that he has become totally irrelevant, and happens to be, surprisingly, a very Low I.Q. individual. He could barely get out of College, and maybe he didn’t, but only really dumb people can’t make it through that wonderful four year time in life!” As Trump went on, he appeared to address the speculation surrounding Carlson’s political aspirations, which the podcaster has denied. “Tucker wants to run for political office, but he should be required to take a cognitive test,” Trump wrote. “He’s got no chance, but could probably take a couple of points away from whatever the Republican ticket happens to be! Tucker is a loser, and always has been!” The president then pivoted his attention to Greene, who he once again labeled a “traitor” following their falling out. “Went from Ultra Conservative to a Liberal ‘Fool,’ all in a matter of weeks, because I refused to return her phone calls,” he went on. “Not because I didn’t like her, just because I had no time. She was way down in the Polls in Georgia (because I took away my Endorsement), and would have had no chance at winning, so she, just like everyone else, ‘QUIT!’” Regarding Massie, Trump blasted the congressman from Kentucky as “a failed politician” and “a real JERK.” “What a team this would be, THREE LOSERS, and a pocketful of change,” Trump concluded. “The only chance they have is to join the Radical Left Dumocrats, and try breaking into the Primary System. To all of them I say, PRAISE BE TO ALLAH!” Representatives for Carlson, Massie and Greene did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment. This is not the first time Trump has called out these three individuals. However, his Truth Social post marked the first time he addressed the trio’s alliance. Carlson, Greene and Massie went viral earlier this month after the MAGA defectors shared an anti-Trump class photo, with Greene posting it alongside a caption that said Trump has “betrayed us all” and that “the movement has begun.” Carlson capitalized on this attention by unveiling on a livestream a 10-point manifesto amid a promise to help form a third party.
