Iran War & Fuel Rationing
Iran War & Fuel Rationing – are “Energy Lockdowns” on the way?
Kit Knightly
The war in Iran is having the impact that most people with any sense knew it would have: The price of oil is going up, and the supply of oil is going down.
Of course, whether or not the latter of these is actually true we will never know, and it’s beside the point. Oil companies will natural take the slightest excuse to price gouge and contrive scarcity for the basest of profit motives.
It also serves a political motive as well, since we know the global political machinery is –
against free travel
against fossil fuels and
against people being able to afford basically anything.
Which is of course another reason – we could say the ultimate real reason – why the head of BP is screaming about fuel rationing…
UK should brace for fuel rationing over Iran war crisis, former BP chief warns Starmer
Sri Lanka and Thailand have already brought in rationing measures. In Vietnam they will be grounding flights, beginning in April, due to jet fuel shortages.
On Friday it was reported that a “global fuel shortage may be just days away”.
Pakistan, Vietnam, Bangladesh and Thailand have also instituted remote work for government employees.
In Denmark, it’s not policy yet, only a suggestion. With government ministers begging – “please, please, please” – not to drive and to reduce their energy usage at home. Australia is going the panic-buying-causes-shortages route.
Bloomberg is warning that the fuel crisis may threaten the global food supply.
It’s all kinda familiar isn’t it…
In case you’re not picking up what we’re putting down here, the Financial Post is warning that…
Oil prices could get high enough to force a COVID-level lockdown
…yeah.

Prof. Fabio Vighi:
“The focus on geopolitics alone hides a systemic shift that is unfolding away from public scrutiny. An escalated conflict with Iran creates a massive risk of a sustained oil price spike. Roughly one fifth of the world’s oil supply passes through the Strait of Hormuz. A major conflict that disrupts this chokepoint would rapidly translate into a global energy shock.
[…]
Historically, major shifts in monetary systems have often occurred during periods of crisis. Wars, financial collapses, and geopolitical shocks create the conditions under which previously unthinkable policies suddenly become possible. Moments of emergency suspend normal constraints, allowing governments and central banks to reorganise financial structures in ways that would be politically impossible during stable periods.
[…]
All of the above turns a likely long war in the Middle East from a purely geopolitical struggle — regime change in Iran — into the catalyst for a historic financial regime change. While the bombs fall on foreign soil, the transformation lands in the code of money itself. A geopolitical conflict, an energy shock, and a financial transition could converge into a single systemic event. The crisis would not merely justify extraordinary intervention; it would determine the form that intervention takes. The digital infrastructure now being assembled may therefore prove to be the monetary architecture through which the next phase of crisis management is conducted.”

Most people ‘ration’ their personal fuel consumption anyway because of high prices. The media are hyping up fuel shortages as a way to rustle up support for the US-Israel suicide pact.
A real virus that escaped tho…. Recall when the half way alternative semi mainstream commentators were all in on the ‘the cover up is justified’…….anyway yes rationing with queues is the regimes fantasy it’s just one step away from food ‘shortages’ famine
They are frothing at the mouth for another ‘famine’.
Likely this is the closest explanation of the war:

“This War Is Not What You Think” — The World Will Completely Change in 21 Days | Simon Dixon
No, he still doesn’t get it. He goes some way but then loses himself in contradictions. He’s still locked in to the idea that there is genuine conflict and independent regional autonomy, when there simply is not, so he’s forced to try and make sense of it in those terms, which is virtually impossible. Hence his failure.
His frankly ridiculous claim that “modern” drones and AI can somehow defeat a massive military force equipped with WMDs makes it evident how inadequate his analysis is. He’s trying to explain the inexplicable failure of the US to wage a real war, but his “explanation” inevitably makes no sense, because he is not dealing with full spectrum reality.
Likewise his rambling unnecessarily complicated discourse about international finance is him trying to explain the apparent lockstep between alleged rival nations without admitting the lockstep exists.
Essentially, like most analysts, he’s trying to avoid the elephant in the room – that the covid scamdemic proved the existence of a level of supranational control – not just cooperation, control – that we previously could not have imagined.
It’s really that simple. There really IS a financial/political elite (call them globalists if you will) that has, probably over decades or longer, gradually taken control of virtually all the major industrial and military powers in the world by means of bribes, blackmail, managed elections, color revolutions, strategic assassinations, careful selection and education of the elites of other nations and similar methods.
Their agenda was first revealed during the covid psyop. They’re now using war to promote the same agenda, and its proving more effective.
The war looks strange because it is. It’s a limited war waged solely to provide the reason for another round of the “great reset”. It’s also a war the US is intended to lose, or at least not win.
That is the reason the US battleships apparently “can’t” defend themselves against a bunch of drones. It’s the (ridiculous) cover story for them throwing the fight. A cover story only buyable by a population desensitized to reason and brainwashed by binary thinking. The US is firmly lodged in the minds of the Left as a force for evil (which of course it is), so these people are so keen to see it defeated they will uncritically accept any story that lets them believe this is happening – that David is defeating Goliath.
Of course the cabal managing this psyop understand this and exploit it.
Note also how the “drones and AI beat conventional weapons of war” plays into the current zeitgeist. AI and drones are boogeymen in the public mind, and it’s easy for non-technical people to see them as eerily futuristic things that could manifest almost magical powers of destruction.
Notice also the absence of any detailed explanation of how exactly some comparatively light weight drones could be more difficult for a warship to shoot out of the sky than, say – a plane.
Or how a drone would be more effective at destroying a ship than a vastly more powerful ballistic missile.
Or indeed what the precise role of the dread “AI” would be in a combat situation.
The truth is the US is losing for one reason – because the script demands it. Same reason everything else is happening in the geopolitical and domestic political arena

Mossa… who?
Superficial article selling the traditional narrative on US-Iran relations while omitting a lot of the key facts that imply more cooperation than they want to admit. Why bother posting that when OG produced their own much better and more honest article on that subject ten days ago.

If they do plan to go ahead with fuel rationing in Western countries such as has been mentioned in the UK, it won’t be with old style paper ration books like in 1973.
Will they follow Sri Lanka’s route with QR codes on smartphones? Small countries, especially islands, are always used as test beds for various globalist schemes.
Perhaps they will go a step further and insist digital ID is required to purchase fuel to prevent fraud etc or offer a signing up bonus with the right to purchase additional litres if one has a digital ID.
The possibilities are endless….let’s hope it doesn’t come to this.
Does “the war” mean that the UK May 7 elections will be conveniently (for Starmer) cancelled ?
And the recent meningitis outbreak ushers in queues of dumb students wearing masks and begging to get a shit in the arm.
It’s all starting to make sense.
Will the “global fuel shortage” stop the overlords from flying around in private planes as before?
No chance mate
How they gonna fly to all them expensive ‘Save The Planet’ gabfests
if they stop flying to them in their private jets… Sacrifices are for the
lesser folk, as is petrol sniffin’……
And what about all the emerging AI centres? Will they continue to gobble up masses of power and water while the rest of us are on rashions?

tRump’s gunning for you. Literally:

TRUMP’S FINANCIAL CONTROLLERS APPROVE OF HIS ACTS.
Some branch of TPTB are his direct controllers, reinforced by CIA.
Forces in addition to Netanyahu told Trump to start this war.
So we must conclude that all the following are wanted:
—Loss of US MidEast bases
—Continued depletion of American military readiness & supplies
—The cartoonish insulting & estrangement of all possible allies:
Scandinavia countries thru Greenland threats
Canada over & over & even freezing Canadian assets
Sneering at everyone for not confronting the Strait of Hormuz
Everyone thru tariffs
EU thru threats & insults
—Near-global energy crisis, possibly coming food crisis.
We don’t know how far this will be permitted to go. But when it is stopped
it may be that TPTB have gotten the results they wanted from the war.
Sometime before Trump’s first term part of an interview appeared on Mint Press. In it, being a blabber-mouth, Trump indicated that it had already been decided that he was going to be President, but just not whether it would be the next election or not. I believed him, but wondered WHY they would want HIM? Now I understand why: It would be difficult to ascribe to most people the acts, the speeches & the insults which it is easy to imagine are just a product of HIS personality. He was probably manipulated into sincerely doing it all. He’s the perfect patsy of the Controllers!
confronting the Strait of Hormuz
Exactly what would any military escort do to protect a merchant ship, and to get it past the 3 ships already sunk?
Any escort would be add’l targets. The ruinous part of this particular Trump behavior is his sneering at everyone for not wanting to do this, or to have anything to do with a war so obviously of aggression.
Well said sister, you get the picture, pity more don’t.
Herringbone, I’m glad you get it; that you aren’t stuck on the idea that Israel is the author of all this, or Trump. Look at Simon Dixon generally, but especially at his explanation for the war, which is much more complete than what you & I have figured out.

I wish it were possible to slow the video down, cuz he talks so fast.
“Rationing – we’re all in this together”, though as George Orwell might
say, “those some deserve bigger rations than everyone else.”…
“…. though some deserve…”
The point no one seems to be getting is – the US was always supposed to lose. That was the whole point. The new globalist order has always involved ditching the US, crashing it and moving overseas to a nice new billet. This is what is in progress right now.
Covid was supposed to be the catalyst into globalism but they had to let it go because too many folks were waking up and cottoning on to the fact the governments of the whole bloody world were suddenly all in bed together and lying their asses of about the scamdemic, so they had to put the kibosh on that and start convincing people they were all enemies again by starting wars all over the place. And I guess at some point they got the idea of having another go at it, but this time they won’t make the mistake of making it too obvious they’re all in bed together, and war is the perfect cover for that.
So oops gorblimey Trump starts a stupid war and people assume it’s 2003 again and just totally miss the fake out, the big twist – America is going to lose this one. They’re going to be the bad guys and get reamed and the good guys are going to kick their asses and defeat empire and kickoff a new age. All the old US money pisses off to China and Russia and gets on with building the Great Reset and the 99% are so happy the empire’s gone they don’t realize they’ve been jiggered until it’s too late.
It’s happening right now boys and girls. Hold on to your hats.
That was the old US. However, the US went through regime change in 2016. This, now, is the new US.
Given that the new US is taking on the Monolithic and Ruthless Conspiracy (aka Kissinger’s Multipolar World Order) it’s unlikely that it will conclusively win. However, it won’t come close to losing.
No, mate it’s only pretending to take on the Monolithic whatsit as you call it. But it’s taking a fall as was always planned. It’s a fixed wrestling match.
I expect there’s a few blokes even inside the administration who don’t realise it or don’t agree with it, but there’s not much they can do because the Rothschild globalists took over a long time ago.
So when does this “fall” happen? Give or take a year! Or do you mean as “now”?
CIA confusion bot… go away.
Come on mate, the writing’s on the bloody wall. What do you think happened to the big world government plan after covid fizzled? Think they spent years setting that little beaut up just to drop it at the first set back. No they just regrouped and tried again on a different tack. It’s happening right now, The Great Reset is back in town.
This is how THEY live:
‘They wallow in unbridled hedonism. They go to private schools and have private health care. They are cocooned in self-referential bubbles by sycophants, publicists, financial advisers, lawyers, servants, chauffeurs, self-help gurus, plastic surgeons and personal trainers. They reside in heavily guarded estates and vacation on private islands. They travel on private jets and gargantuan yachts. They exist in another reality, what the Wall Street Journal reporter Robert Frank dubs the world of “Richistan,” a world of private Xanadus where they hold Nero-like bacchanalias, make their perfidious deals, amass their billions and cast aside those they use, including children, as if they are refuse. No one in this magic circle is accountable. No sin too depraved. They are human parasites. They disembowel the state for personal profit. They terrorize the “lesser breeds of the earth.” They shut down the last, anemic vestiges of our open society.’
Chris Hedges.
This is why wars continue.

President Trump sent out invitation to countries to help him start WW3, so far he has got no takers. Hormuz Dire Straits.

The new “Nato”!

11 March 2026
Teams of Ukrainian military experts have been sent to Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia to help them defend against drones being launched from Iran in retaliation for the massive US and Israeli air attacks.
Others are also helping the US defend its military presence in Jordan, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
In a video address, Zelensky said Ukraine had “the greatest experience in the world in countering attack drones” – a reference to expertise built up over the more than four years of attacks by Russia on its neighbour.
Or: Dire Straits of Hormuz ?
UK also got the “invitation”, though Trump had claimed a week earlier that he did not UK involvement. He also added the insult that Starmer was no Churchill.
Why do you think he got no takers? Do you think the rest of NATO suddenly got a conscience and some balls? No, they’re all same gutless puppets they always were, following a script. The script used to be America Rules, now it’s America crashes and burns and China becomes the new center of world government.
And we all know that the terrible, deadly coronavirus was very, very real. Every bit as real as the Mars colony.
1973 Nobody remembers it. They rationed it with gas line down the block and around the corner. The corps made a killing. But eventually prices went low and they lost money for a while. I like when what goes around comes around.
The Empire of War Greed and Hypocrisy has lost another war:
https://dissidentvoice.org/2026/03/the-u-s-has-lost-the-war-whats-next/#more-167786
Slow learners or what?
They were always going to lose. Trump might not have been let in on the secret but the real rulers of America have always known where this lot is going. They planned it that way. They’re setting fire to the old homestead then getting the hell out and buying nice new mansions outside Beijing, or maybe down here in NZ.
Haven’t you notice how many fake alts like Tucker “my dad was a g-man” Carlson have been criticizing the war and saying it’s the end of America? Because that’s the script they’ve been given, to prep people with the idea the coming collapse is just an accident and all stupid Trump’s fault.
But don’t believe it mate. It’s not an accident, it’s part if the big Rothschild plan, or Great Reset or whatever you want to call it.
Now we got talk of the Strait of Hormuz only open to blokes who ditch the dollar and give the Yuan a big wet kiss.
The globalist Rothschild crowd have been fantasizing about a move east for decades. They love China because it knows how to handle its population and keep the troublemakers quiet. So the plan is China becomes the new center of ops because there’ll be fewer annoying “conspiracy theorists” like all of us there to mess things up for them, and meanwhile we all in the West get silenced when they turn the internet off and start rationing everything “because of the war”.
The ones who said the wars were a continuation of the great reset by other means were right all along, and you’re about to get the proof of that any bloody day.
Yup, they have been planning this for a long time.
The comtrollers have been moving the centre of operations eastwards over the past couple of decades, meanwhile running up the US credit card, so to speak. The US is still of use to them for its military muscle and its ability to borrow more. However, when the national debt will no longer be sustainable and the US dollar collapses, they will asset strip what is left of value, picking over the carcass. We are not there yet, but in 5 to 10 years it will likely be over, reduced to an economy of no great significance.
100% agree with you mate on everything except the 5 – 10 years. I hope you’re right don’t get me wrong, but I think they’re in a heck of a hurry for some reason, which is why they ballsed up their first try (with covid). They were going too fast and being so bloody obvious even the normies were catching on.
That’s one thing I don’t get is why the hurry? Where’s the fire?
The potential “fire” is in the financial system. Look up ‘shadow banking’ if you’ve not heard of it, which could collapse the financial system and lead to bank failures. Away from that the the US stock market is set to enter a long term bear market after a 100 year bull market.
Of course, the timetable may also be affected by the desire to enact Agenda 2030 by 2030.
Even if the financial system does face some kind of systemic failure it will also impact the BRICS countries and others too, so I believe that they will try to avoid it. That is why I think (and hope) that the US decay will most likely be a slower process rather than an overnight event.
This is no victory for us mate, you know that right?
I’ve seen so much smoke and air pollution around these bomb sites but haven’t heard a single thing about climate change….funny that! Where are these zealots now, whesrs Greta the Rothschild demon baby
Climate change also took a rest when the Kuwait and Iraq oil wells were burning for months.

The War Against Iran will be eulogised as:
“The War That Saved The Planet from Global Warming” (TM)
Not sure if this is deliberate but… The article seems to imply end-to-end orchestration, with lockdown as a common goal. If not, my bad. If so, then this is pure, myopia-driven madness
I don’t think it’s myopia as much as centration. Could be deliberate relative to the lack of focus on and censorship, i.e., automatic pending, of the Greater Israel project and the role of the zee’s and their wealth and control. Better to say they’re all in on it to drive focus away from the real culprits.
There are reports of a new “flu virus” spreading throughout the US,
one it’s claim there’s no vaxxine for, even existing vaxx. As yet the
new flu virus hasnt been labeled “virulent” – but that labelling is only
a Press Release away from it becoming The Excuse for another

“… we know the global political machinery is –

against fossil fuels and
against people being able to afford basically anything.”
Then why are misc companies busy searching for offshore oil in Norway?
Ask Grok. Grok Knows (Everything).
Because they’re not really against fossil fuels because they’re not that stupid. They love fossil fuels and they’re not going to give them up, they just want to stop the rest of us having too much of them.
Is it wise to mention a “COVID-level lockdown”? I would have thought that by this time – and despite the terminal dumbasses – there would be enough who now see through the Covid Cavalcade to sink any such rhetoric.
Difference is that with the Covid lockdowns you could still travel domestically by car or public transport. Even international travel by plane was possible even if it meant jumping through a few hoops with PCR or antigen testing – which was easy to fake so long as you had a test identification number for the documentation, which didn’t actually mean needing to take the test. A rather nice loophole for those who figured it out.
However, if fuel is rationed and planes are grounded then travelling will become very difficult, unless willing to walk or cycle long distances. So them describing it as a “Covid-level lockdown” and the public seeing through it, still won’t make any difference. No fuel equals no travel.
Not really. The masses really haven’t woken up.
The masses are awake, and are awaiting a bellwether (aka – a Messiah)…

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday that French President Emmanuel Macron is willing to help unblock the Strait of Hormuz.
Speaking at a White House event, Trump said he spoke with Macron on Sunday about the situation. The U.S. president said Secretary of State Marco Rubio would announce the names of countries willing to aid the United States in the effort.
Trump expressed surprise with the United Kingdom’s initial response, saying he was not happy with the UK. He added that he thinks the UK may become involved in the coalition.
The U.S. president has previously invited other countries to participate, arguing that it is in everyone’s interest to ensure the strait is safe for the passage of tankers.

“Australia is going the panic-buying-causes-shortages route.”
Yes, petrol is the new toilet paper. (Remember the great toilet paper shortage of 2020? 🙂
Of course, it’s a gigantic con. Petrol prices skyrocketed here in Victoria days before the first bombs fell, and we supposedly ran out of oil about a week in. Who here believes that our incompetent government could be that incompetent?!
If 20% of the world’s oil must pass through the Strait of Hormuz, then that leaves 80% unaffected by closure of this key waterway. I know it’s not as simple as that, as oil does not flow freely across national borders, but still I wonder: How is it that the Western world is losing its collective mind over a relatively minor pinch?
And with the US producing so much oil that it is a net exporter of oil, why have gas prices shot up over there?
The headlines here in Victoria for the past couple of days have included dire reports of rural towns running out of petrol entirely. The residents are supposedly blaming the city folk, the unspoken solution sounding suspiciously like how a “smart city” is supposed to run.
Cooked books. Economists and Book-keepers use every opportunity to act as crybabies.
Where’s Dictator Dan when we need him?
Funny you should mention this… The penal colony called Australia has the blueprint already.
Following the 1973 oil embargo, the UK government faced severe fuel shortages, leading to the distribution of petrol ration books to all motorists on November 29, 1973, as a precautionary measure. Though voluntary driving reductions, 50mph speed limits, and supply cuts were implemented, formal, mandated coupon usage for petrol was ultimately avoided as supply issues eased by March 1974
Petrol rationing in Australia during the early 1980s was triggered by severe industry strikes, rather than wartime shortages, leading to states like South Australia and New South Wales passing emergency legislation in 1980 and 1981. Measures included odd-even, minimum/maximum sales, and threatened coupon use to manage limited supplies
1980 Acts: South Australia passed the “”Motor Fuel Rationing Bill”” in April 1980 due to strikes.
1981 Crisis: NSW introduced a $4 minimum and $8 maximum purchase limit in October 1981, with odds-and-evens systems enforced by licence plate numbers.

Iran is now letting a whole swathe of nations oil tankers safe passage through the Straits of Hormuz, such as Egypt, Pakistan China and others, apparently those nations that are NOT aiding and abetting Israel and USA, in illegally attacking Iran or hosting the planes and missile launchers, used against Iran, will be allowed to sail their oil tankers through the straits.
But I see quite clearly how any government could quickly become more authoritarian – and use the fuel shortage to impose strict laws on its citizens, such a no travel policy, ie a work from home policy, but without the masks, a stay off the streets after say 10pm policy.
Worse still – and I think it might happen is false flag attacks blamed on Iran, a for instance is that the USA has created a clone of the Iranians very successful Shahed drone, its called the Lucas drone, it looks remarkably like a Shahed drone, that could be used in a fag flag attack on US soil, which would allow Trump and his admin to clamp down seriously – on free speech and movement, using false flag attacks as the impetus.
I appreciate your term: “… fag flag…”
Well if nothing I’m at least original.
Iran just stated that the latest attacks on neighbouring nations do not come from it (since when not stated), and may instead come from Israel.
