SpaceX successfully launched its Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Friday morning. The flight followed a last-minute scrub on Thursday due to an undisclosed issue. The Starlink 10-39 mission adds another 29 broadband internet satellites to the company’s low Earth orbit megaconstellation. Liftoff from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station happened at 11:14 a.m. EDT (1514 UTC). The 45th Weather Squadron forecast an 85 percent chance for favorable weather during the opening of the window. It deteriorates down to 45 percent as the window progresses. SpaceX launched the mission using the Falcon 9 first-stage booster B1078. This was its 30th flight, making it the sixth booster to reach this milestone. Nearly 8.5 minutes after liftoff, B1078 landed on the droneship, A Shortfall of Gravitas, positioned in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of South Carolina. This was the 164th landing on this vessel and the 652nd Falcon booster landing for SpaceX to date.
