Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. presents the Galaxy Tab S12 series, composed of the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S12+. This new generation combines power, extended battery life, and Galaxy AI in a slim and light design to simplify complex tasks and accompany users in their daily lives. Both models feature immersive displays and come with an ergonomic S Pen, designed to facilitate note-taking, annotation, and editing. Thanks to professional applications and a range of dedicated accessories, the Galaxy Tab S12 series combines mobility and professional-grade performance. "The Galaxy Tab S12 series has been designed for those who explore new ideas, develop their skills, and realize their ambitions," explains Jay Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of Customer Experience Office, Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics. "It combines a generous screen with the power of Galaxy AI to simplify complex tasks and allow users to stay focused on their goals." Top performance in an ultra-slim design With only 5.1 mm in thickness, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is the thinnest Galaxy Tab ever designed by Samsung, while offering the highest performance ever offered on a Galaxy Tab. The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra offers up to 23 hours of battery life, compared to 21 hours for the Galaxy Tab S12+. With a 45W adapter, the battery can be recharged from 0 to 100% in about 95 minutes. Thanks to a 3 nm etched processor, the series offers up to 61% additional NPU performance, 19% additional CPU performance, and 17% additional GPU performance compared to the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. A new 3D vapor chamber contributes to maintaining stable performance during intensive use. Both models also benefit from an IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra integrates a 14.6-inch screen, while the Galaxy Tab S12+ has a 12.6-inch screen with thinner bezels than the previous generation. Both models are equipped with a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display that can reach a maximum brightness of 1600 nits, as well as Vision Booster technology, which adjusts brightness in real-time according to ambient conditions. The multimedia experience is complemented by a 4-channel spatial audio system for richer and more immersive sound. Galaxy AI for productivity Running on Android 17 with One UI 9, the Galaxy Tab S12 series brings research, note-taking, creation, and artificial intelligence assistance together in one environment. Multi Window mode allows dividing the screen into up to three zones. Users can thus follow a course, take notes in Samsung Notes, and use an AI assistant simultaneously. With Note Assist, notes can also be automatically summarized. Both models come with an S Pen. For users who wish to create a more complete workspace, the Pro Keyboard integrates a Galaxy AI key providing quick access to AI assistants, while the Book Cover Keyboard Slim facilitates typing and viewing. The Galaxy Tab S12 series also includes six months of trial access to Google AI Pro. With Gemini, users can deepen a subject or get real-time explanations. Gemini Notebook allows centralizing notes, images, files, and recordings to generate summaries, podcasts, or quizzes. Samsung Browser can also understand the content of web pages, the context between multiple tabs, and browsing history to summarize information or find previously consulted sources. An ecosystem dedicated to creation and learning The Galaxy Tab S12 series provides access to several professional applications as well as benefits representing a total value of about $600. For the first time on an Android tablet, Adobe Photoshop is preinstalled. Optimized for tablets and compatible with the S Pen, it includes AI Assistant and features based on Adobe Firefly, such as Generative Fill and Image to Video. Users benefit from four months of free access to the mobile Photoshop plan.
