A Luxe Sardinia Hotel Just Opened a New Penthouse Suite. Here’s a Look Inside.
A Sardinia hotel just added some high-end heavyweights to its suite lineup.
W Sardinia – Poltu Quatu has unveiled a quintet of luxe new accommodations this season. Robb Report got an exclusive first look at the crème de la crème, a 1,732-square-foot stunner with rates starting from $2,768 a night.
Inside the new Penthouse I, you’ll find plenty of neutral hues and light woods, as well as pops of blue and red throughout in the pillows, rugs, and other details. In addition to one king bedroom and one queen, the penthouse is home to three bathrooms (complete with Frette linens), one of which features a striking green sink. In the separate living room for a touch of open-concept living, a creamy white couch is perched at its center, accompanied by wooden chairs with soft blue cushions, with a dining room placed right behind. The kitchen, meanwhile, has a striking island in a warm green hue that contrasts the light cabinets behind.
The star, though, is the expansive private terrace. That space, overlooking the marina beyond, comes with its own Jacuzzi and private pool that you can bask in all day or enjoy during sunset. There’s also plenty of outdoor lounge space, a bar, and outdoor dining room to maximize that time in the sun. If you’d like to see the Penthouse I, which is the largest new premium accommodation on offer, for yourself, you can book here.
As for the hotel itself, W Sardinia – Poltu Quatu is now officially open for its first full season this year on the island’s northeast coast. The hotel, surrounded by cliffs, gorgeous turquoise waters, and hidden coves in a tucked-away inlet, pulls the outside in, with handcrafted wood and stone throughout, thanks to interior design by New York City-based firm Meyer Davis and architecture from the Milan-based DE.TALES.
And when you do want to go explore, the property has you covered there, too. It partnered with the folks at boating company Fjord to have private charters on standby to take you all around Sardinia—that includes half-day coastal journeys and full extravaganzas around La Maddalena Archipelago. Other boating options include Pirelli speedboats to its partner beach club, alongside other amenities like Technogym equipment in the gym and more. That’s your summer adventure sorted, then.
