Zelensky told where a meeting with Putin and Trump can take place

Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that the United States is working on organizing a trilateral meeting of the presidents of Ukraine, Russia, and the United States, according to Tengrinews.kz. The head of state wrote this on Saturday, October 17, in a Telegram channel. "Regarding the meeting with (Volodymyr - note) Putin, the US is working on its organization. They have a proposal to hold a trilateral meeting. It can take place in one of the countries of the Middle East. The US has repeatedly mentioned the United Arab Emirates or Saudi Arabia," he noted. According to him, another possible option is to hold negotiations in the US during the G20 summit. However, neither Russia nor the United States has yet confirmed the possibility of holding the meeting. "The meeting can also take place in one of the European countries. I know that the Europeans are starting contacts on this issue. We will see how the situation develops further," Zelenskyy added. Regarding negotiations on behalf of the Ukrainian side with representatives of Donald Trump's administration, the president explained that Kyiv is counting on such a meeting and is ready to hold it in Ukraine or Europe. "If they want to meet in America, let them invite us. We are ready to negotiate anywhere and in any format: trilateral, bilateral, multilateral, or with the participation of five or more parties - it doesn't matter. The main thing is peace," Zelenskyy emphasized. He also explained that the meeting with the American side could take place as early as next week. The American negotiating track will continue. We are counting on them to put more pressure on Putin, not on us. Otherwise, it is simply unfair. As for our meetings with the American side – we expect to meet and are ready to meet in Ukraine or in Europe. If they want to meet in America, let them invite us. We are ready to negotiate anywhere, and we are ready for any format: three-way, two-way, four-way, five-plus – it doesn’t matter. What matters is peace. The American side has given us a signal that our meeting with them can happen next week. And, of course, in my view, Europeans need to have their own infrastructure and their own track for negotiations with Russia. We need to pursue every possible avenue to stop the war. We will also speak separately with Türkiye. I plan to talk separately with President Erdoğan about sea and food security, and with representatives of Middle Eastern countries.
