Idiots and shot by the radical left. Trump says why he doesn't believe "at all" that Russia and China help Iran
Idiots and right-wing extremists. Trump says why he doesn't believe "at all" that Russia and China help Iran
American President Donald Trump stated that he does not believe "at all" that Russia and China help Iran, adding that Moscow and Beijing would have "too much to lose" if they supported Tehran, Reuters reported.
Trump stated, in a message published Tuesday morning on his social network, Truth Social, that he has seen the comments of his critics and opponents according to which China and Russia help Iran.
"I see so many comments from idiots and right-wing extremists who claim that China and Russia help the 'wonderful' Islamic Republic of Iran. If they do, it is at a very low level, but I don't believe it at all. They have too much to lose, and we will find out about it, and we will find out very quickly! Thank you for the attention paid to these issues," wrote Trump.
The American leader declared in July that he trusts that Russia and China will not help Tehran in the war between the US and Iran, but warned that if they did, "it would be very bad for them".
The United States and Iran have been at war since February 28, when the US and Israel attacked Iran, and Tehran responded with its own strikes against Israel and the Gulf states that host American bases. Since then, American-Israeli attacks on Iran and Israeli attacks on Lebanon have caused the deaths of thousands of people and the displacement of millions.
Trump previously described Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin as "neutral" during the war in Iran.
Attacks by Iranian drones on CIA facilities in the Gulf led the analysts of the US intelligence services to investigate whether Russia had provided information about targets or advanced technology for the drones. European Foreign Ministers insisted on this issue during a meeting in March with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. In the same month, The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal reported that Russia was providing Iran with information about targets.
Moscow and Beijing maintain close ties with Tehran. Russia stated that the war in Iran could lead to a nuclear arms race in the Middle East. Beijing condemned Washington's attacks on Tehran, labeling them a flagrant violation of Iran's sovereignty.
Last month, Trump warned Xi not to support Iran during the visit of the Chinese leader to Washington and received assurances that Beijing would not do so, the American ambassador in China stated at the time.
The warning came amid information according to which China had provided Iran with anti-aircraft missile launchers, and Tehran had found ways to evade sanctions on its oil sales with the help of Beijing.
In September, Trump rejected information according to which Iran had obtained satellite images of a Jordanian base from Chinese entities before an attack that led to the death of three American soldiers in this country in July.
